Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Dollface 80% Dupe

We all love a good dupe, right? So when sorting out my makeup collection, i stumbled across a pretty good one!
My Dad brought me back Tarte's Amazonian Clay Blush in Dollface from America, where it is avaliable in Sephora at $25 a pop. It's a light baby pink and lasts for ages with maximum pigmentation.

Meet the dupe: MUA blusher in Shade 2, from Superdrug at £1 for 2.4g (Dollface is 5.6g).

The top one is a heavily swatched MUA, the bottom is one swipe of Dollface. The pigmentation is obviously not the same, but after blending out the MUA, the colour similarity is obvious.

Considering there is a humongous price difference (considering the price of overseas shipping from Sephora...is that even possible?), and the colours are pretty darn similar, i'd nab the MUA blusher. It's not exactly the same formula wise, but the colour is very very similar, and fills a hole in anyones blusher collection.

Becca Beach Tint in Watermelon

This came in my February glossybox, and i thought it was a sample. It was so tiny, i thought, it must be a nice sized deluxe sample, but upon further inspection, it is full size. Full. Size. Worth £28 no less. Big things were expected- and after looking at the full shade range on a Becca retailer's website, i'm quite glad Glossybox gave us Watermelon.
The packaging oozes high-end cool, and i keep the tube in the box purely because i don't have the heart to throw it away.

The tube is so small! That said, there is a definite reason...

...the crazy pigmentation. I squeezed a miniscule amount onto my hand and blended out (shown below).

It gives a gorgeous flush to the cheeks, and smells like watermelon. Just all round yum!

I'll be sad when this runs out, but i can't see myself repurchasing- £28 is a bit steep, even for a die-hard beauty addict. Thankyou glossybox!

Howdy Sailor

I'm not one to enjoy/post outfit posts.
However, recently i've been looking for inspiration at the idyllic llymlrs, and others such as HelloOctober and lydiafaejones
So, when i donned my first shorts of the year yesterday, i snapped a bad picture. But a start is a start, is it not?!

Blush: Benefit Sugarbomb
Lips: Collection 2000 Creampuff matte lipgloss in Powder puff (major love for this product)
Top: Lipsy
High wasted Shorts (which you can't really see): Miss Selfridge
Necklace: Tiffany & Co
Sailor jacket: Charity shop

EUREKA! My jacket is from Sue Ryder, a charity shop i hadn't previously ventured into. I picked this little beauty up in the Vintage and Retro section, for £5.95. It originally came with shoulder pads, but i carefully cut them out and have them just in case.

New Look Accessories Haul

So for my birthday, i received what can only be described as an excessive amount of New Look vouchers. I mean, i love New Look, but i ran out of things to buy...then discovered the new summer range of accessories.

One of the first things i picked up, is the ring shown above. It's just a large amber/brown stone in a pretty gold colour setting and cost £3.50. It reminded me of llymlrs rings, which always seem to be sold out, so i'm glad to have nabbed this little ring while i could.

(Please excuse the upside-downness of the second picture)
I also picked up this very Egytian-esque necklace, which I have come to love even more. I think cute girly Peter Pan collars aren't quite my cup of orange hot chocolate, so i thought this would still be a bold statement, but be in keeping with my style aesthetic.
This necklace cost £4.99, which i wouldn't've paid for with my own money, but i see it as a good investment piece and i liked it.

I also picked up some clips, because i've started clipping back my fringe (which i'll post about if you like..?) and these are really cute and a nice alternative to boring old grips!
The above one, which is a taupe-y colour, cost £2.00 i think? and then the bottom pack of 3 cost £2.99 , so they're cost effective and rather cute. yay!

I think this is the one thing i bought which i'm least keen on. I like it, and i think it's pretty and summery, and i can see myself wearing it..it's a bit too girly for me, i think. It cost £4.99 and is, admittedly, exceedingly pretty.

The gorgeous abstract shaped red ring was on sale for £1.50 down from £2.99. It's a size S, so i wear it on my little finger, which i think looks really good as i was running out of little finger rings for when i go all mystic meg with the finger jewellery. The colour is stunning and i just love the overall feel of it.

This is the two rings i purchased being worn together, with the cards still attached because i'm a) lazy and b)struggling to find scissors.

Lastly are the above earrings, which are shell-shaped. I liked the whole mermaid-esque effect they gave me, and because i have long wavy hair, i was hoping to exude some form of sultry mermaid vibe. I don't think i have as of yet, but they are very summery and pretty, and were £3.99 which is measly next to other earrings, really.

I think i'm set for summer- but never say never eh?
